There are commercial centres with supermarkets, banks, restaurants, shops and bars and a large array of sports facilities including a gym as well as tennis, padel and squash courts, and water sports available on the beach. Calahonda is a short distance from the marina of Cabopino, were there are more restaurants, bars and great sandy beaches to be found, as well as the pleasure of gazing at the yachts and boats.
There is a seasonal tourist road tram to and from the coast and the upper part of Calahonda that runs along the main road through the urbanisation. Calahonda also has an access point to the toll road, making touring around the Costa del Sol and the many towns and villages in the vicinity quick and easy.
We recommend a car but there is some public transport available and there are plenty of Taxis/Ubers/Bolts available.
